What is Missing In Your Life? Find Out Now!

As achievers we know that whatever we focus on, we will find a way to achieve. The challenge so many of us face, however, is in finding balance.

Even the greatest achievers acknowledge a gap between where they are and where they really want to be. Perhaps our businesses or careers are strong,
but our intimate relationships are lacking. Or maybe our relationships are flourishing, but our personal finances, physical vitality or even our connection with our children is suffering. We all have areas of our lives that demand more focus.

If you want an extraordinary life, there are seven areas of focus you must master. Fulfillment will not happen by doing okay in some, great in another and letting others fall by the wayside. Though there are times when we might need to focus on one or two, each area is never less important than another. They are all interwoven in the fabric of life.

The Seven Areas of Focus

1. Physical Body: The vehicle through which you experience life
2. Emotions & Meaning: The fuel of life
3. Relationships: The ultimate magnifier of human experience
4. Time: How and where you focus your energy
5. Work / Career / Mission: How you make a difference, lead and influence others
6. Finances: A medium of exchange to create, transfer and share value
7. Celebrate & Contribute: A spiritual awareness

1. Physical body.

Are you in great shape? Do you exercise regularly? How is your diet: healthy and nutritious?

Physical mastery is the foundation to your success. If you can’t master your own body you are not in control of your life. Will you enjoy your fat bank account while being overweight and sick? I don’t think so.

Creating healthy, energy and physical fitness is more than what you eat, how often you exercise or even how you feel.

Your health is the vital energy to fully live the game of life.

2. Emotions and Meaning.

Emotional mastery is the key to living a life that you direct. The capacity to have absolute direct power over what you feel in every single moment—no matter what happens around you—is one of the most important skill sets you can have. Being in charge of your emotional health is the key to living life on your terms. If you spend your time trying to solve all your relationship problems, but you haven’t even mastered your emotions, it’s a recipe for disaster. Without mastering meaning and emotion, you will always be at the mercy of life’s challenges. Having a firm grasp of your emotions frees you to be proactive rather than reactive to changes you face.

3. Relationships.

Relationships are a massive part of our lives, we can’t live without them. Of course sometimes it is very hard to live with them, but in the long run they are one of the most important things in life, and yet also one of the easiest things to neglect.

Dr George King described friendship as a flower that needs to be watered by two or more people in order to survive. I think this is a brilliant metaphor. Perhaps that flower could live for a little while being watered by only one person but in the long run it will just wither and die. Rather than waiting for the other person to start watering the flower before you do, why not take the initiative and start the watering first. You might just trigger them into watering it as well.

4. Time.

Time management is important for your personal life and career success. It teaches you how to manage your time effectively and make the most of it.

Here are a few of the reasons why it is so important, and how it can help you use and manage your time more advantageously:

1. Time is a special resource that you cannot store or save for later use. Everyone has the exact same amount of time each day. Time not well used cannot be retrieved.

2. Most people, feel like they have too much to do and not enough time. They blame lack of time for their poor finances, stress, bad relationships, and for not exercising their body.

Wise time management can help you find the time for what you desire, and for what you need to do.

5. Work/ Career/ Mission.

Do you currently have a j.o.b.? Or are you happy with your career? May be you are on a mission and you know exactly your life purpose? It is crucial to master this step to be completely fulfilled. Once you’ve discovered how to add value in your work/career/mission, you can create a plan to grow your wealth.

6. Finances.

Are you adding enough value to the world and solving enough problems so your are proud of your finances?

7. Celebrate and Contribute.

Spiritual growth and your capacity to celebrate and contribute are at the top because you can’t enjoy the fruits of your labor until you’ve sowed the right seeds.

Mastering these seven areas means living life to its fullest.
